All classes will last approximately 3-hrs (unless otherwise noted), and are a combination of hands-on learning and chef-lead informational sessions. Come ready to learn and to enjoy the food you prepare at the end of class! We are BYOB! Glasses, openers and ice tubs are provided.
Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration you will learn to make several German favorites. The menu consists of Sour Beef and Dumplings with Glazed Root Vegetables as well the traditional schnitzel and Spaetzle. We are BYOB here at the shop, so bring a friend and your favorite German beers or wine!
You don’t need to cross the border for great Mexican cooking! Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration our Mexican Cooking Workshop you will teach you to prepare a variety of recipes. During this class you will be learning dishes including Tamales, Pork Pozole, Pippian, and Seasoned Rice.
Using authentic ingredients and techniques, our Chef will teach students to prepare artisanal tacos utilizing ingredients such as marinated steak, seared shrimp, roasted cauliflower, hand-made corn tortillas, queso fresco, cilantro lime slaw and a variety of taco sauces made from scratch. So come grab one of our tortilla presses and let's get cooking!
For decades the island of Cuba was off limits to Americans. And, we were missing out on a veritable feast of wonderful Latin Cuisine. In the Cuban Cooking workshop, our Chef will walk you through such delectable dishes as Ropa Vieja (Pulled Beef Stew), Cubano Sandwiches, Congri (Cuban Black Beans & Rice), Sweet Plantains, and what Cuban meal would be complete without Tres Leches Cake!
