Fall is here and Halloween is just around the corner! We have put together seasonal, limited space Halloween Workshops. We have classes for Kids and for Parents & Children as well! All of which offer your kids the chance to come together with other children and have fun celebrating this spookiest of holidays! There will be lots of cooking "Tricks" and plenty of Halloween "Treats"! Working with our Chef, through a combination of both hands-on cooking and demonstrations, students will be making super fun Halloween recipes such as BBQ Chicken Coffins, Jack-o'-lantern Quesadillas with Halloween Pico de Gallo, Guacamole Stuffed "Puking" Pumpkins, Mummy Jam Hand Pies, and to quench your thirst Witches' Brew Lemonade. With the holiday fast approaching, it's a great time to start planning your desserts! Because, what great holiday meal doesn't include delicious pies? In our 3.5 hour Holiday Pies class you'll be exploring the skills needed to make a variety of delicious pies! Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration you will learn to make a basic pie crust to make Apple & Pear Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, and Pumpkin Pie. Additionally, you will learn to make a new family favorite, Peanut Butter pie with an Oreo crust! This class will last approximately 3.5-hrs...come ready to learn and be ready to enjoy the food you prepare at the end of class!*
Almost nothing embodies the holiday spirit like delicious cookies! In this unique baking skills workshop, one of our Pastry Chefs will be walking you through how to make three delicious holiday cookies...Chocolate Peppermint Thumbprint Cookies, Soft Pumpkin Cookies with Brown Butter Icing and finally, Red Velvet Whoopie Pies! This class will last approximately 3-hrs...come ready to learn and be ready to enjoy the cookies you bake at the end of class! You will be permitted to take home what you bake!*
Guests will create their own great fortune in 2023 by making and bringing home a chubby mocha cream & chiffon cake log with chocolate ganache bark, and the sort of meringue fungus that actually would grow on a fallen cake tree!
This Chef lead baking workshop will walk you through the steps to make your own Buche de Noël, a great way to impress friends and family, while making any holiday table more festive. Students will be able to take their finished cake with them!
In this once a year special Holiday class, guests will jump right in to learn the finer points of roasting with a very special menu of seasonal favorites and delicious specialties. Oktoberfest is known throughout the world for its celebration of all things beer, sausage, and pretzel. Join us at the Culinary Craft Workshop for our own version of this traditional Bavarian festival! A variety of German meats, cheeses, and mustards will be provided to snack on during class, and students will participate in the production of soft pretzels, German potato salad, sausages roasted with apples and onions, and smoked pork loin with sauerkraut. We are BYOB here at the shop, so bring a friend and your favorite German beers or wine!
