All classes will last approximately 3-hrs (unless otherwise noted), and are a combination of hands-on learning and chef-lead informational sessions. Come ready to learn and to enjoy the food you prepare at the end of class! We are BYOB! Glasses, openers and ice tubs are provided.
Steak! From rare to well done, a steak dinner is an iconic American tradition. In this class, Chef Nate will recreate the American Steakhouse experience through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration. He will guide you through the preparation of recipes such as Rib-eye cooked to perfection with Mushroom Duxelles, Smashed Potatoes, Traditional Caesar Salad, and for dessert...Bread Pudding, prepared to your tastes.
Our Chefs created an indulgent menu for a fun, romantic evening of chef demonstration dishes, with the opportunity to either observe or assist the chef for those who want a more hands on experience...that's your choice. Your date night includes a seasonal Soup, followed by a seasonal Salad. Your main course will be a rich and delicious Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin topped with a Red Wine Sauce and Mashed Seasonal Root Vegetables. And, what decadent meal would be complete without dessert? For that sweet finish, Panna Cotta.
Join us for the fun and informative event with Chef Pat. He will be demonstrating some our favorite Culinary Craft Workshop recipes and pairing them with wines selected for us by the experts at the Wine Bin. Guests will get the opportunity to sample each recipe and a wine specifically chosen to pair well with that dish. The Chef will be discussing how to properly pair wine with food, as well as answer all of your foodie questions. As a Chef with extensive wine knowledge, classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America, learned brewing in Germany, and worked at a winery in California.

Since you will only be sampling our wines please feel free to bring your own bottle if you choose.
Curious how to pair your favorite brew with good food? In this class, our Chef Pat, who learned to brew beer in Germany, will be discussing how to properly pair a variety of beers with accompanying foods.
Beer Class Pairings:
First Course: Beer Batter Tempura Vegetables, Shrimp and a dipping sauce, paired with a Lager/Golden Ale
Second Course: Duck Breast, Seasonal Vegetable Risotto with Pan Sauce, paired with English Style Barley Wine
Third Course: Adult Floats with Weizen Doppelbock/Double Chocolate Stout
Since you will only be sampling our beers, please feel free to bring your own beers of your choosing.
We do lots of things well here in the “Land of Pleasant Living”, and most of them have an impact on our cuisine.
Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration, in the Maryland Cooking Workshop you will be preparing a variety of celebrated local recipes from the Old Line State. During this class you will be learning to prepare dishes such as Maryland Crab Cake Sandwiches, Corn Soup, Ham Hock Green Beans, and of course our unique version of Maryland's own Smith Island Cake.
Baltimore has long been know as Charm City! And, no culinary trip of Maryland is complete without a visit to Baltimore! Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration, in the Charm City Cooking Workshop you will be preparing a variety of celebrated local Baltimore recipes. During this class you will be learning to prepare dishes such as Pit Beef Sandwiches with Horseradish Sauce, Maryland Crab Soup, Homestyle Cole Slaw, and of course Baltimore's own Fudge-Covered Shortbread...which for legal reasons we can't call by name, shhhh!
Nearly nothing says Creole cooking like a hot, steaming bowl of delicious Louisiana Gumbo, brimming with chicken, sausage and shrimp and spiced just right! Come for the Gumbo, stay for the Dirty Rice! Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration, we’ll be exploring Louisiana cooking while making Gumbo, Hushpuppies and Dirty Rice.
In this hands on Chef led class you will be learning to make such Cajun favorites as Jambalaya, Alligator Bites, and Blackened Catfish with Remoulade .
Some of our menus and recipes for workshops change based on the season, chef's inclination and the availability of the best ingredients possible! If you have a food allergy, please let us know as far in advance as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, however make no promises that this will be possible.
