In this unique baking skills workshop, one of our Pastry Chefs will be walking you through how to make three delicious holiday cookies...Chocolate Peppermint Thumbprint Cookies, Soft Pumpkin Cookies with Brown Butter Icing and finally, Red Velvet Whoopie Pies! Sweets and pies o' my! Have you always wanted to learn to make America's favorite dessert along with other baked sweets? In this course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of making flaky, buttery dough for pies, Pop Tarts and galettes (free-form pies) and how to bake these flaky creations! You’ll learn the process of mixing, rolling, forming, making fillings and baking the sweets treats through hands-on and demo-based applications.
Students will get to mix their own flaky dough, form pie shells, fillings and express their creativity through decorative pie crusts. Working within your social group, we will bake our flaky creations and enjoy eating our treats. Are you obsessed with those beautiful classic French treat originally found at patisseries across Paris and now found in bakeries all over America? Do you want to know the secrets of these sweet Parisian iconic treats and leave with a box of your very own creations, then our Macaron classes are for you! This class will last approximately 3-4 hrs...come ready to learn and be ready to enjoy the food you prepare at the end of class!*

It’s time to make the donuts! And, donuts you will make. Sweet treats that everyone loves! For this class will be making donuts from scratch…both traditional and some with a French flair! Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration, in the Donut Cooking Workshop you will be learning to prepare traditional Baked Cake Donuts, Donut Holes, French Beignets and a variety of donut glazes and fillings, including Vanilla Glaze, Chocolate Ganache and Pastry Cream. Learn to bake (almost) any type of cookie you could possibly want...and the best cookies ever! How? Because you will be creating them! In this unique baking skills class, one of our Pastry Chefs will teach you how to make a base cookie recipe, then how to adapt it to make your own secret recipes based on your likes, favorites and delicious ideas! Students will get to make two types of cookies each, one with the help of our chef, and one with the help of your imagination. Nothing starts or compliments a meal more than fresh baked bread hot from the oven. However, baking is an unforgiving discipline. Utilizing a combination of Chef taught process and technique, everyone can bake the perfect loaf!Through a combination of hands-on learning and Chef demonstration, in the Breads, Bagel & Buns Workshop you will be learning to prepare Bagels, Fougasse, Potato & Carraway Rolls and Rose Rolls. This class will last approximately 3-hrs...come ready to learn and be ready to enjoy the food you prepare at the end of class. You will be permitted to take your fresh baked loaves home with you!*
Because sometimes you just want to wake and bake! No silly, not that way! In our Baking for Breakfast Class students will be working with one of our Pastry Chefs to learn to prepare a variety of delectable baked goods to compliment any breakfast! table! Students will be baking such breakfast favorites as both sweet and savory scones, as well as muffins and biscuits utilizing fresh seasonal ingredients. This class will last approximately 3-hrs...come ready to learn and be ready to enjoy the food you prepare at the end of class! *
It’s the hap-happiest time of the year! The perfect time to learn to bake a traditional holiday treat with a French flair, the Buche de Noë l! This delicious holiday cake is a French Christmas tradition that dates back to the 19th century. The cake represents the yule log that families would burn starting on Christmas Eve. While no one is positive on exactly how the yule log turned into a cake, everyone can agree it's a delicious tradition we never want to end. Our Buche de Noel will resemble the traditional it was derived from - a giant log, or a stump, that would burn in the family hearth for 24 hours to bring luck to the household. For practical reasons, we’ve moved to the table, and what a treat it’s become! Guests will create their own great fortune in 2020 by making and bringing home a chubby mocha cream & chiffon cake log with chocolate ganache bark, and the sort of meringue fungus that actually would grow on a fallen cake tree!
This Chef lead baking workshop will walk you through the steps to make your own Buche de Noël, a great way to impress friends and family, while making any holiday table more festive. Students will be able to take their finished cake with them!
Some of our menus and recipes for workshops change based on the season, chef's inclination and the availability of the best ingredients possible! If you have a food allergy, please let us know as far in advance as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, however make no promises that this will be possible.
