Your date night includes a sumptuous seasonal Soup, followed by a seasonal Salad. Your main course will be a rich and delicious Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin topped with a Red Wine Sauce and Mashed Seasonal Root Vegetables. And, what decadent meal would be complete without dessert? If you love beer and delicious food, but have always been curious how to pair the two together...this is the class for you! Chef Pat will be discussing how to properly pair a variety of beers with accompanying foods, as well as answer all of your beer and foodie questions. As a Chef with extensive beer knowledge, classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America, and as a Brew Master trained in Germany, Chef Pat is a fountain of culinary knowledge!

 

Beer Class Pairings: 

First Course: Beer Batter Tempura Vegetables, Shrimp and a dipping sauce, paired with a Lager/Golden Ale 

Second Course: Beer Brined Pork Belly and a Cheesy Polenta with Country Ham, paired with Red Ale/Brown Ale 

Third Course: Duck Breast, Spring Vegetable Risotto with Pan Sauce, paired with English Style Barley Wine 

Fourth Course: Adult Floats with Weizen Doppelbock/Double Chocolate Stout

Frying anything makes it delicious...or so the saying goes!. And, in our frying class you'll learn the tricks of the trade to fry foods properly. From finding the correct depth and temperature of the oil, to how long you need to fry your food to ensure it's cooked to the proper temperature and consistency, we've got it covered. In our Frying class you will be working with one of our Chef's, who through both hands-on and demonstration, will teach you to Deep Fry safely, while practicing all of these skills. You will also have the opportunity to have any of your food frying questions answered. Recipes  prepared will include Fried Chicken, French Fries and Tempura Vegetables, as well as accompanying sauces. *Spatchcocking is the process of removing the backbone of a whole  Turkey so that the bird lays flat, vastly shortening the cooking time, yet sill allowing for crispy brown and delicious skin!

It’s the hap-happiest time of the year! The perfect time to learn to bake a traditional holiday treat with a French flair, the Buche de Noë l! This delicious holiday cake is a French Christmas tradition that dates back to the 19th century. The cake represents the yule log that families would burn starting on Christmas Eve. While no one is positive on exactly how the yule log turned into a cake, everyone can agree it's a delicious tradition we never want to end. Our Buche de Noel will resemble the traditional it was derived from - a giant log, or a stump, that would burn in the family hearth for 24 hours to bring luck to the household.  For practical reasons, we’ve moved to the table, and what a treat it’s become!  Guests will create their own great fortune in 2020 by making and bringing home a chubby mocha cream & chiffon cake log with chocolate ganache bark, and the sort of meringue fungus that actually would grow on a fallen cake tree!


This Chef lead baking workshop will walk you through the steps to make your own Buche de Noël, a great way to impress friends and family, while making any holiday table more festive. Students will be able to take their finished cake with them!
